Support Camp Blue Skies at Camp Twin Lakes fundraiser

The Blue Skies the Limit team of Jacqueline Wabler and Jaime O’Keeffe rode their bikes for 100 miles each on Oct. 15 and raised $1,870 for Camp Blue Skies during the Spin For Kids fundraiser at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, Ga.

The Spin For Kids is a major fundraiser for Camp Twin Lakes-Rutledge, which is the home of Camp Blue Skies-Georgia and Camp Blue Skies-Williams Syndrome in March. The money the team raised will make Camp Blue Skies a reality for adults with a developmental disability.

Jacqueline is a veteran volunteer and program leader at Camp Blue Skies. She recruited Jaime to ride with her. Emily Finn, our new Georgia-based Volunteer Coordinator, help promote the team.

Spin For Kids offers multiple routes for riders of all skill levels. Participants can choose from six scenic road routes: 5, 15, 27, 47, 62 or 100 miles. Along each route, riders enjoy delicious homemade goodies and local fare at rest stops, while a dedicated team of first aid, route marshals, and bike technicians keeps riders safe.

The 2018 ride is Oct. 21. Interested in riding on our team? Email Emily@CampBlueSkies.org.
