Back by popular demand, Pickleball Charlotte will host Camp Blue Skies’ annual fundraiser Pickleball for Camp. It’s a “Frenzy” format on a Friday night and proceeds benefit our camps for adults with developmental disabilities. Sign up to compete or come out for social time!

It's at a New Location & Time. A fun way to spend a Friday night, and it's indoors.

It's a Frenzy. 5 teams play to get as many points as possible in a limited time.

It's a Social. Cheer on teams in this fast-paced format! Enjoy food & beverages!

  • Kyle

    Team: Yellow Pickle Pals

    Kyle is 28 years old and lives in Charlotte. His family moved last year to Mountain Island Lake! He likes sports, Marvel superheroes and music. Kyle works at Bitty & Beau’s as a cashier. He has been coming to camp for the last 5 years. Spending time with friends is his favorite thing about camp. Camp Blue Skies has helped Kyle make new friends.

  • Robin

    Team: Orange Sunkist Picklers

    Robin, 38, lives in Matthews. Her favorite activities are sports, crafts, cooking, working in the yard, and playing with her dogs. Robin works at Harris Teeter and Bonefish Grill. Robin has been coming to Camp Blue Skies since 2012 and has loved each year! She likes the ropes course, zip line, and nature walks. But her favorite thing about camp is the people she spends time with!

  • Brandon

    Team: Blue Thunder Jets

    Brandon lives in Charlotte’s Dilworth neighborhood and works for Brixx Pizza. He has attended Camp Blue Skies since the very beginning, attending the North Carolina sessions for 14 years and the Georgia camp for 13 years. Brandon enjoys the family atmosphere that Camp Blue Skies creates!

  • Sarah

    Team: Emerald Green Dragons

    Sarah, 35, lives in Charlotte. She enjoys tennis, cornhole, RyzAbove Fitness, attending baseball games, going to Camp Blue Skies, and hanging with friends. Sarah works at American Girl. Sarah has been attending camp since 2010 and likes seeing her friends and doing ropes courses, zip lines, rock wall activities, and arts and crafts. Sarah learned how to fish at camp!

  • Amy

    Team: Red Paddlemates

    Amy, 45, lives in Charlotte with her best friend. Favorite activities: Painting, swimming, tennis and pickleball, jigsaw puzzles, shopping, going to movies and plays, and caring for her dog, Honey. Amy works at Harris Teeter. This fall will be her third year at Camp Blue Skies. She loves everything about it but especially enjoys being with friends and making new ones.
