On Monday, Aug. 17, Camp Blue Skies founder Dick Sesler and Dr. Peter Cox of Dynamic Health & Pain Management were featured on Charlotte Today (NBC Charlotte, WCNC) to talk about serving adults with developmental disabilities and the upcoming Hooked On Camp fishing derby fundraiser.
Dick talked about his inspiration for creating Camp Blue Skies and the opportunities for campers and the respite provided to parents/caregivers. Dr. Cox explained how he became involved with Camp Blue Skies and its Hooked On Camp fishing derby fundraiser Sept. 10-11. Dynamic Health & Pain Management is the title sponsor for the fishing event. John Wendel, NBC Charlotte meteorologist, will return to serve as honorary chairman.
